I prefer the Cinch over my Grigri2. I sport climb and the way this device pays out rope is so incredibly smooth in comparison to the GriGri & Grigri2. It catches falls reliably (just like the Petzls). It's lighter and simpler (no cams). Lowering with this device is also smoother. Very well thought out design.
