I don't know why but I have always had problems cleaning overhanging routes with the bolt getting stuck in the little cut out where the gate sits. The keylocks take care of that problem in a pinch.
Pros:
-keylock
-dog bone is a little stiff helps stay the draws
cons
-the paint on the rope end has already worn off after 10 or so runs

Basic Chalk Bag Average Rating : 5.00/5
In: Gear: Essential Equipment: Chalk BagsGreat chalk bag

Bought this as my first chalk bag and hasnt let me down since, deep enough to hold a good deal of chalk and to keep it in while leading.
Pros:
Nice deep chalk bag
Fleece sides hold onto extra chalk
Cons:
Attachment points can be a bit of a pain to get a biner onto.
Bag opening can be a bit floppy sometimes but never enough were it has become a problem, more of an annoyance.

In: Gear: Shoes: Climbing Shoes: Lace UpGood Shoe weird sizing
Review by: Jonjovac, 2009-10-16
I majorly undersized this shoe in an attempt to get a more aggressive shoe, and that was my big mistake. I normally wear a size 10 and i got a size 7! At first they were not too bad but after a little bit my toes would be destroyed. Its been almost 6 months now and they have finally stretched out to the point where they are really good shoes, but I still cannot wear them for extended periods of time.
Pros:
Excellent edging due a beautifully designed toe box
Really like the lace up style keeps the shoe glued to my foot.
Cons:
Can be a bit of an aggressive fit
Uncomfortable for long periods especially if you undersize them (duh!)

Bought these a while back when I started climbing and all the reviews previous to this hit it right on the spot.
Pros:
Really comfortable fit
Snug lace ups allow to dial in the shoe
Relativley cheap
Cons:
Red dye on your feet for the first couple of weeks
Stretch up to a half size
Not very agressive
All in all a fantastic shoe, my mistake however was sizing them to be right at my street size so that after a little while they stretched and the toe box was not very powerful anymore. My advice size them a half to a whole size down to what you wear.
