I was excited when I needed a new harness to try out the new technology that arcteryx and BD have been working on with harnesses. I settled with the chaos. I've had it and used it regularly (twice weekly) for the past 4 months. I have a couple gripes. First, after having a petzl sama previously, I knew I would need a speed adjust buckle. Well with the chaos, this does me no good if I can't even get it over my butt... The size medium harness cinches all the way down once i wiggle it over my butt. This was never a problem with the petzl. ( Or maybe my butt is the problem?) Secondly and most importantly, the leg loops suck. Plain and simple. While very comfortable initially, after about 3 months of use, the thin band has started to peel back on the inside/back of my thighs when I'm hanging. This leaves me very uncomfortable, even when belaying. Instead of evenly spreading the weight out, like it's designed, it does the opposite and concentrates it on one spot. Needless to say, I'm going back to the Sama as soon as i can't stand the pain anymore... There was nothing wrong with the Sama anyway.

This rope has been good to me and has stood up to the abuse. Light and easy to use, it was everything I had hoped for.

There is something to be said for sticking with what works. This was the first rope bag I bought a few years ago and although it works, it doesnt work well. It doesnt compress hardly at all so fitting into your back is a problem as well as if you were to carry it by hand on any kind of approach. It is a pain to flake the rope into the small little circle, tarps are much easier to use. The velcro becomes useless after awhile and well it just got to be such a hastle to use that I got a metolious rope master to replace it. Stick with what works- the cinch doesnt.
