These things are amazing! If I could only carry one set of cams around with me these would be it. Great range, reasonable weight, feel bomber when placed and well made.

Another awesome shoe from Acopa! I've been climbing in the Spectres and B3's for almost a year now and have loved them. I picked these up a couple months ago and have been testing them out at various locations. These are a VERY specialized pair of shoes. They're not a great all around go everywhere do everything kind of shoe in my opinion. The new last shape makes them perform amazing on rock and features that are bumpy and knobby with lots of sloping edges small nubs. I find them equally at home on steep pockets and slaby features. I do feel that they lack in performance when it comes to edging on very small micro edges as well as flat straight edges. The traditional flat shaped shoe last I feel performs much better on these types of edges. If you happen to do most of your climbing at an area with very flat small micro edges another shoe my be better suited for your needs. But if you happen to climb at any area with sloping edges, weird shaped knobs, pockets, or any time of irregular foot holds then I think you'll be able to see the maximum performance of these shoes. These shoes have such a unique last shape that even experienced climbers will find them different to climb in. It does take time to relearn your foot work with these shoes and learn just how to use them but I think the time and effort put into it will be well spent and have a nice pay off. Construction is well done, rubber is better then stealth (in my opinion), and made to fit more of a medium to wide foot. Acopa is awesome!

Way over priced seeing how every other small cam on the market is around $20 to $30 cheaper. But other then the price these are some awesome cams. I've got the two largest and love them. Their triggers are very stiff to pull but we're climbers and we have strong hands so it's not an issue. I like how the springs in the cam push the lobes out into the rock when its been placed making them feel very secure and very hard to make walk around in the crack. The lobes are just about the same with as the Metolious Ultralight TCU's but when you factor in the axle of the Ultralights and even old style Metolious TCU's the C3's have a much narrower head width. I find the stem to be very flexible but does this weird twisting thing when placed in a vertical crack and then loaded. While the stem is very flexible it is no were near as flexible as an Alien but way more flexible then a Metolious TCU. Overall I them a lot but they need to come down in price before I would consider buying any more of them.

These are awesome shoes. After going through 2 pairs of Anasazi Velcro's I have to say these shoes outperform them at every turn. The outside edge takes a little getting used to and I find that I use some foot holds slightly differently due to the anatomical outside edge but I definitely feel more power there. These are more of a high performance shoe that will be best would be best used by someone with more experience and solid footwork. The only problem with them is that they stretch like mad. Mine were painfully tight when I first got them and stretched out at least half a size in volume if not a little more after several days. I know most people have to order them online like I did and sizing can be a pain but I wear a 10.5 Anasazi Velcro and got the B3's in a 10 and they felt the same when new but the because of the stretch factor of the B3 I'll get them in a size 9.5 next time.

I love these shoes. I bought them to replace my worn out Anasazi lace ups and am extremely happy I went with these instead of another pair of Anasazi's. They're shaped for more of a medium to wide foot. I've worn several pairs of Anasazi lace ups and velcros as well as a pair of La Sportiva Miuras and these things edge just as well if not better then those. I've found the Acopa rubber to be stiff competition for 5.10 Stealth and Evolv Trax rubber and blows everything else away. The canvas lining kept the size and shape of the shoe so there is next to no stretch, so size accordingly. And the last thing I'll say about these is that they are probably the most comfortable pair of shoe I have worn. I'd highly recommend these shoe to anyone looking for a good high performance sport or bouldering shoe.

My only complaint is that I can't find Acopa shoes in any of my local gear shops. I've bought these and the B3's and had to order both direct from Acopa.
