A total bomb! Rigid they're nice, but it's overkill, especially since they have horizontal front points and lose their functionality on vertical ice. Flexible they don't flex with the foot, but instead at a single point, and are thus pointless. Better to go with a semi-rigid with horizontal front points if that's what you're in for. Hell, I've used these on waterfalls and they suck, as do all horizontal front point crampons.

If you're a guide there's nothing better, hands down. get yourself two of them. Then, belay off of the anchor, up to two people, and then it's just an easy transition for you to get climbing. Quick, simple and auto-locking for the clients. Amazing product

I give this a 5 because we must all understand that everything has it's place. This shoe is not the super-cambered 5.14 climber that the V10 might be, but it is the most amazing all day comfort shoe on crack routes. There's a reason Dean Potter uses 'em (besides sponsorship). If your foot is strong then you don't need any more than these offer: sticky ass rubber and an amazing fit, especially for wide feet

If you have wide feet then you know 5.10 is the only shoe for you. I can't do the Muira or other Sportivas (would like to, but can't), but this shoe does everything those do AND keeps me comfy. I've got a bigger pair for all day routes and a tighter pair for bouldering and sport.

Affordable and necessary! The perfect nut as it won't break the piggy bank and does the same thing as other nuts. Also, I like the anodizing, and have learned what a purple placement looks like, a red placement, etc... Also, 1-3 I don't believe are a waste of money, especially if you're aiding. They have their use, albeit limited, in places like Eldo and other runout face areas.
