I got a pair of these for 75% off. Ended up costing just around $30 bucks. I figured, hey what a deal, i'll pick these up, and use them to save my other shoes, and use these when i don't need too technical a shoe.

I use these as a back up to my Miuras and my V-machines. They are really comfortable, but aren't as good on harder routes.

Basically, if you can get them cheap they make a good beginner shoe, or good back up shoe. I'd buy either the Miuras or V-machines, or if you want to stick with Boreal, the Zens, rather than using a pair of equinoxes as my primary pair of shoes.

I like this, because it holds the chalk together, and you can get it on your hand better. plus, if you have chunky loose chalk, you can put it in this, and it'll get broken down into smaller and smaller chunks, until its a nice fine powder

I just got these shoes, and I absolutely love them.
They fit my shoe like a glove. At first they seemed a bit tight, but since they're unlined, they stretch out. They're sized similarly to most shoes I've tried, except for some Mad Rocks and the Boreal Zen. I got these over the internet, never having tried them on, so I guess I was lucky that they fit. If you happen to buy them, I think that Bufo has some sort of deal where you can send them back and get a different size for cheap, in case they don't fit. In fact they fit so well, that I can comfortably climb with the shoes unvelcro-ed. I only really need to velcro them to do heel hooks and the like.

One problem I thought I would have with these shoes is that there is only sticky rubber in the front part of the shoe. However, this hasn't been a problem for me yet. I've used the heel on small things, and haven't had any problems with the lack of sticky rubber. The lack of sticky rubber in the middle of the shoe seems to make the shoe a lot more flexible. Not neccessarily a good or bad thing, just something to get used to. I really like it.

These shoes are very good at smearing and edging. Plus they are very easy to put on and take off, making them very convenient. (They have 2 pull loops, which makes them easier to put on than Zens, for example, which only have one).

Overall a very good shoe. Plus its got crazy amounts of sex appeal... (says the website)

I got this chalk bag, and it works well for me. It holds the chalk, and that's pretty much all you need a chalk bag for isn't it?

Anyways, it has a drawstring closure which seal up pretty tight, but occasionally spits out some chalk dust when you squeeze the bag.

By the way, mine was sized a Medium, and it holds as much chalk as I need it to.

I tried this shoe for some climbs and found it to be pretty good. As it is not mine, I can't say how it is in terms of how long it lasts.

However, it seemed to be a good shoe for what I was climbing. I was using a pair of Zens when I first started climbing, so I guess these shoes would be good beginner shoes.

The only problem I found was that it hurt my toes. I have relatively long toes, but you probably want to try these on, and maybe climb in them a little before buying. However, now that i've been climbing for a while, and my feet have gotten used to the asymetrical feel of shoes, the same pair of shoes doesn't bother me as much. Still not a pair I would wear for an extended period of time, but comfortable enough for a good bit of climbing. Also note that although i wear a 9.5 size climbing shoe with about every other shoe, I wear a size 11 Zen, and they are a tiny, tiny bit too small.
