Big Gun Harness Average Rating = 4.00/5 Average Rating : 4.00/5

BD Big Gun Harness 4 out of 5 stars

Pros:
- Lightweight especially for a wall harness.
- Two belay loops are the bomb! It really simplifies things while aiding.
- I like all the gear loops. Especially the big rear one!
- The price is right.
- You can rack enough gear that it will pull your pants down.

Cons:
- Funky sizing. Try one on before buying. Even if you are familiar with other BD harness sizing.
- I expected it to be a bit more "cushy" like other wall harnesses.
- You can rack enough gear to pull your pants down.

If you ever plan to do any aid climbing, especially in the desert, you NEED these nuts! They are like magic.
Heading to Canyonlands, Arches, Zion, or Yosemite? Don't bother without these!
They aren't cheap though!!!

This is cramped and hard to get in and out of, but at least it takes longer to set up than a full size tent.

Great rope. Even like the color! It does stretch quite a bit but I like the lower impact force. I got the 70 meter length for cragging in the creek. I hope that the slickness wears off soon... it's fast through a belay device , but mine is brand new. It also feels lighter than my old 9.4 mm 60 meter! WTF?!

This is harder to set up than most family-sized tents and requires six stakes to stand up. Then you have to wiggle and twist your body to get into the thing! Once inside, forget about ever sleeping in the fetal position. It's too narrow. The only reason I didn't give this a rating of "one" is the fact that it so frickin' small and light, it's amazing! Take it anywhere but only use it in emergencies.
