These are my second pair of climbing shoes. I did not bake mine, but I wore it climbing a lot to break them in. Initially, it was very tight and flatly uncomfortable. After about six or eight days, though, the shoes felt like an extension of my feet. I found that I could stick a lot more complex of footholds with the shoes, and that after a while, the camber didn't really even bother me. I think these shoes are ideal for a beginner in bouldering who seeks to go a little bit further. The stretchy stuff on the side bothers me a bit, though; I'm afraid of it becoming too stretched out, and having the shoe fit me too loose.

This was my first pair, and among all the shoes at the store, I found it to be the most comfortable. I was very happy with it until I noticed that a hole I could fit three fingers through had appeared on one shoe after bouldering at an indoor wall. I don't really trust the leather on them anymore, and am thinking about moving to another shoe.

This is my first harness. I spend most of my time at a gym wall. I tend to have trouble making sure it's adjusted right, and I often find myself having to weight it in order to get the belt tight above my hips. The leg loops are the same story. However, it's padded and a lot nicer than the crappy gym harnesses there, and I would definitely feel comfortable taking it outside.
