Very poor quality control. Two seperate stoves:
Would not shut off. Needle valve seat bad
Fuel Line Coupler on Pump: would not seal causing fuel to flow freely from bottle. (Demonstrated at REI by accident with Nova fuel spill on Customer Service Counter)
Product manager for Nova stated that they have had to address this with the manufacturer. So, how many other problem stoves are there out there.

I concur with bigdrop. Tons of bells and whistles, most not necessary for accurate navigation, but nice. The Eclipse uses a unique needle to line up, but I went through two of the things due to bubbles in the vial. Took one to Alaska and ended up with a bubble he size of a nickle. Replaced by Brunton. Second one formed bubble at 9,000 ft. and it grew to the size of a quarter. The bubble shrunk after returning to sea level, but never got smaller than a dime. It went back to Sports Chalet and I switched back to the Silva Ranger CL

If you have a $25 head then you won't need the level of protection and convenience that the Petzl Ecrin Roc provides. Excellent adjustability for wear over skull caps or bear skin. Adequate points of attachment for head lamps - In my case: Princeton Tech and a Petzl Zipka. Both stay on just fine. I have not had the need to plug the holes to cut down on air circulation and warmth in cold climates, but that feature is avialable and certainly adds to the versatility of the helmet.

An excellent value given the exceptional quality and strength Omega Pacific puts into their equipment. The gate opening is a bit small and the diameter of the nose larger on their locking "D", which means their locking "D" will not work with a Gri Gri for example, but for a "D" and/or "oval" they are solid, reliable and a great value. "D"'s and Ovals are the standard for rescue work. What more could you want?
The finish work positively compares with any other biner that I looked at, of which some were almost twice as expensive. I'll take the extra strength and slight amount of additional weight and the savings.
