Hikes and climbs very well. 4 out of 5 stars

I'll lead up to 5.6 in these. They climb quite well. They fit like a glove. Only 2 issues I have found: 1 - Due to the grey foam cushioning coming so far up the foot(for hiking comfort) they tend to roll on small edges when using inside big toe or outside pinky toe a bit. 2 - I'm the only person I know that has had this problem buuuut... after a day of guiding in the rain, both soles delaminated up to where it meets the gray foam. A bit of shoe goo fixed it right up! I'm a guide and I generally love these shoes. Many guides in my area use them as well. The rubber lasts a long time after the 5.10 Tennie has worn out.

Been climbing for almost 20 years. Been climbing on these for about 7 of them. I've used a bunch of Scarpas in the past. I like comfort and used to always go with high tops. I own 2 pairs of mythos and keep them revolving between resoles and climbing. Both pairs are currently on their 4th resole. I generally climb multi-pitch trad (Gunks 10's), but will climb sport(Rumney 11's) on occasion. These are, hands down, the best performing and most comfortable shoe I've ever owned!

For rappels while ice-climbing, this thing rocks. It's a worry-free, hands-free device on thinner wet and frozen ropes as a back up to a belay device. I love it. I am curious, however, as to whether I will use this all of the time while cragging. It's not the lightest piece of gear.

I love this harness. I took a 10 foot static (full length daisy-chain fall) fall on this harness and I barely felt a thing. It's VERY comfortable for LONG belays. Plenty of well placed gear loops. I have even taken this free-climbing a few times and for a big-wall harness, it free-climbs very well with very little restriction of movement. A touch uncomfortable to sleep in but not too bad overall.
