works very well, but sometimes I wish i'd saved the money and bought an ATC. was great for teaching my little bro to belay me on the nice little top ropes down the road from my place. seems to have been subverted from Petzl's intended use for more 'unreccomended' practices. good if you like hardware, and fancy stuff. just read up on the +/- before u buy and see if its for you

i've had these shoes for a while now and they are fantastic. i've got velcro and lace ones, the lace ones havinga flatter sole, so much more comfy for longer days of trad climbing. i do prefer the velcro ones though as they fit much better, nice and snug around the heel. great for edging and very sticky, durable shoes. loves it!!

An great great jacket. Have had it for 4 years or so, has held up to rain, snow, sleet. only recently had to re-waterproof it. keeps you dry as dry, had plenty of pockets, very adjustable and easy/comfortable to wear. it tough, has survived numerous falls on rock and ice. i ski, bike, run, climb, walk and party in this incredible jacket from a quality aussie manufacturer, Pallin.

pretty solid, bar chinstrap complaints. looks kinda funny on, but is light and comfortable. i often catch myself forgetting that its on.

great little device, like the higher friction mode for belaying people bigger than me. smooth for rapelling on.
