okay, i suppose. Much to clunky for use at a back-up device, or ascender. But, it'll take two ropes, not many does that. Bought mine for self-belaying, but it doesn't do that well. Doesn't slide very smooth, nor by it self. Ended up preferring the gri-gri for that.

stable, easy to use, clamps down better than most atc-type devices and doesn't lock up. Takes some gettig use to for abseiling, but far superior to figure 8 -except for longer abs.
