Use these rings all the time at the local wall. Somewhat limited as far as different holds, yet somehow more enjoyable to use than a hangboard. I guess its the swinging motion to be completely honest. Just always find myself gravitating towards them in between climbs. Must get a set for the backyard.

Exactly like the shorts of the same make, and cheap if bought at the sale. Very durable with incredible movement versatility. However, they are a bit on the then side for my liking. I prefer some of the other Prana pants with a bit more thickness.

I like these shorts quite a bit. This may be partially due to the fact that I'm able to get them dirt cheap at the bi-annual Prana Sale in Carlsbad, CA. Their light yet durable, with a good amount of stretch. Also they don't wrinkle easily, and dry quickly.

Working at a college campus climbing wall you get to interact with many cool people....and a lot of shitheads. There's been extensive talk about the double-edged sword that is the 'gri-gri'. If used correctly many believe it to be additionally safe, due to the auto-locking feature. However, it can also inspire false confidence in the aforementioned shitheads. I feel it serves its purpose quite well for the top-rope setups we offer. It is also very useful when self-belaying in the gym and setting up routes/cleaning routes/etc. For leading on the other hand, we always break out the 'ATC' type devices.

To me, this is certainly the definitive hangboard. My gym features this model, and my roomate has it as well. The variety of holds on this make blows away the competition, and the proposed workouts it includes are fun and useful for training. It is a bit expensive, but you gotta shell out for the best.
