I said great for the price, compare the price of the cinch to the grigri. I have used both, bot now I always use the cinch. I do you it for trad climbing too, but I have yet to catch a big fall with it, I just like it. What I would look out for is the new titanium cinch, that thing has a longer lever arm, and should be smooth. For users changing over from a gri gri to the cinch the lever arm is very sensitive and takes some gettings used to.

Only 19 grams! This thing is tiny. The picture doesn't really show the size on it. Even though it is small the surgical steel blade is serated and plenty sharp to rip through webbing and even a rope if you had to. Bottle opener as well (the fin). If you don't already have the Trango shark nut tool I would recommend this, I have both. The shark nut tool has a 50% larger blade than the Piranha.
