Great! 5 out of 5 stars

Nothing wrong with these shoes. These are especially great for gym climbing or trad. Easy on and easy off. Mostly I'm impressed with the quality to price ratio. These shoes cost as much or less than the cheapo fall-apart Defys, but they have thick Sportiva rubber, firm construction, and three velcro straps. My only "complaint" is that the straps are a little stiff and so they don't stick as well as they could. Regardless, this has not become a problem. In the low price all round shoe catagory these get a 5.

These fit like a glove and are more durable than anything I've owned. Let me just say that when my solutions don't quite heel the mustard I put these guys on (and that says A LOT). I've had these for nearly a year and they're just starting to blow on one of the toes due to the rubber seam peeling away. As much as I climb you can't ask for more than a year from any shoe.

+2 Very comfortable.
-1 Thin rubber toe blows out pretty quick (though not as quick as defys)
+2 Great all round shoe for the gym and so so for outdoors considering limited edging ability.

What can I say? 5 out of 5 stars

A little durability could be added to the straps but they'll still last you for a year of more than moderate climbing. I also own the Testarossas but I havent used them very often since I got these. The single strap velcro is just too convenient.

Try them on. 4 out of 5 stars

I agree with the previous reviewer. Try them on first. Unfortunately I bought these from an internet dealer and had to hawk them 2 weeks later since they were killing my feet. Other than that they seem durable but a little too rigid for my liking. Also, the larger toe box doesn't help since it is rock solid and doesn't stretch one iota. I recommend one half size larger than your cross-trainers but I REALLY recommend you try them on first. These didn't work for me but I could see them being a great shoe for others.
