Great Jacket 5 out of 5 stars

Lightweight yet warm. It is great for climbing and hiking as it does little to restrict movement. The pockets are a blessing and a curse. They are huge and can hold a camera, lunch, or even a another jacket, however, they are awkwardly placed, and you look quite silly if you put your hands in them for warmth. The jacket performs well in light rain, and I even use it (in a layered context) in winter or alpine environments.

Quite a Weapon 4 out of 5 stars

Great shoe, it has helped me send projects which I was unable to do with my Miuras. That being said, they are quite uncomfortable compared to my Miuras. Great for overhanging routes, but if you try to do anything vertical or less, your feet may be in a great deal of pain by the time you reach the top.

Notes on Sizing:
These shoes are very small, you will probably need to upsize.

5.10 Team: 9 - feels quite tight
Quantum: 8.5 - feel very tight, I should probably wear a 9
La Sportiva Mythos: 6.5 (39 euro) - snug after break in
La Sportiva Miura: 7.5 (38 euro) - snug after break in
Street Shoe: 8/8.5

Great Design but.... Learn To Sew 3 out of 5 stars

******* The Good *******

- Crampon pouch: this is an amazing idea! It allows me to quickly access my crampons and put them on while all my companions are still rummaging through their backpack to find them. In addition, this pouch is the perfect size for a 2L bottle of water and it gives you easy access!

- The Axe Loops: wonderful design allows you to quickly pull out an axe with minimal hassle.

- Front gear loops: great when you're on a multi-pitch climb and simply don't have enough room on your harness.

- Side Zipper: wonderful idea to allow easy access to the interior of your pack. This was extremely useful!

******* The Bad ********

- The Top Zipper: It broke and I had to resew it.

- The Crampon Pouch: The bottom of it came unsewed, and I had to resew it.

- The Shoulder Straps: BOTH sides came unsewed and I had to resew them. (this was particularly bad because I was hundreds of meters off the ground on a climb in the alps)

****** In Conclusion *****

A well-designed, but poorly constructed, backpack! If you enjoy sewing, I'd highly recommend it. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

I love the 5 cam and I trust it almost as much as the corresponding Camelot. The 3-4 and 5-6 aren't bad, but the bigger sizes have a proclivity to walking. I've had the 9 walk in or out of many cracks. The springs just aren't sufficiently strong.
