The whole concept of adjustable daisys is fabulous. These things make everything easier, whether its aiding a bolt ladder, ascending a line, or just adjusting to a more comfortable belay stance. Only drawbacks are that they wear quickly and are not strong enough to hold a hard leader fall - so belay off the anchor or backup with a tie in point on the rope.

I have both the BD and Metolius brand, greatly prefer the BD ones. Even better now that they're colored.

Decent set of nuts. However, I find that their relatively 'sharp' edges make them tougher to place (snag easier) and even more so to clean. I prefer the BD ones.

Super affordable and light weight. Awkward shape, and low gate clearance makes them clumsy to work with. But, well suited for the applications where you lock it once and leave it for the rest of the pitch (e.g. daisy to ascender) or need a locker 'cause dropping item 'X' would be a very bad thing.
