This was my first pair of climbing shoes and if I had gotten anything less comfy, I might have quit climbing already. They stretched a little after awhile and then they weren't so good for edging anymore, but they were the most comfortable pair of climbing shoes I could hope to find. As always, the front of the shoes near the toes wore out first and now I keep them in the trunk of my car for impromptu bouldering/buildering and last minute decisions to visit the bouldering gym. A great first pair of rock shoes if they fit.

It works like an ATC but grips better when I lock down. I love it and so do the climbers I belay. Sometimes though, on a belay, the rope might run into the other slot and if you are lowering the climber, this coils up the rope. So put the rope back in the correct slot (keep your kungfu grip on the rope always) before lowering and it'll be fine.
