This pulley is alright and holds things in line pretty well, with a lot of use though it does start to slip. The cost is pretty high as well. I'd rather use the Petzl simple-rescue pulley as they wear more nicely and are cheaper.

These ascenders are awesome. They are designed to grab the rope without teeth so your rope does not get damaged with weight. The two-way locking mechanism is extremely helpful and provides more protection and security when in use. The shockload for these are 900kgs which is more than most ascenders and they can also be used to attach accessories to for storage. I like these a lot and will use them whenever I'm out. These are good for beginners also, as they are easy to use, not incredibly technical but they definately get the job done!

I have always enjoyed Black Diamond harnesses for their unique design to fit the female figure effectively. Using the Calypso has been awesome because I have the mobility I need to make difficult pitches and holds, it complimented my body structure and gave me the flexibility I need for hard climbs. I will always buy a Black Diamond female harness for my climbing. The quality is amazing, I've been using this harness since it first came out and I'm not noticing any wear on the fabric, with 2-3 climbs/week. It's great!

I also have high arches so sometimes it's difficult to find a shoe that fits. But I did like the way this one fit and it didn't slip when I did some funky twists to get up some tough routes. I used them for a good 6 months before they really showed wear but the wear continued to escallate no matter how well I took care of them. They breakdown real fast when they start, like the other reviews. Make sure you don't buy these with the intent of not buying another pair within a year, these may be a good transistion shoe but not for active climbers who are considering long-term wear.
