A great overall backpack. I like the APS system. It brings the shoulder bands almost to the centre of your back, which is nice for the not so wide shouldered people. The waistband is superbe. It is not completely vertical, but a bit cone shaped, so that it rests ON your hips, instead of only around them. (the lower back piece is not square, but triangular shaped, which causes this) I think this might be great for women too. For me, having bony hips, it is a relief, since I don't have to strain the waist band too much.

The rest of the pack is a no nonsense bag, without much gizmos. Easily to compress, with 2 compartiments and a floating top. I use it for weekends out into the rocks (kinda on the big side for this if the weather is good and bouldering, but for sport trips it is OK) for longer camping/trekking/travelling trips (10-20 days) it's just perfect. I like the fact that it doesn't have too much pockets and other rings and gizmo's, because this saves weight, and makes a bag often too complex. The things, which the bag has, are useful to me.

(I don't know for sure... I have the cerro tore, but I think it is an other model (older/newer) than the one mentioned above. The features I mentioned are the same, but there is no map compartiment and the mesh wire in the front is also not there. The rest is teh same as in the description)

awesome shoe, when I first put them on, they fit my foot like a glove. I bought em a bit too small, because I expected them to wear out. But that didn't happen. Because of the excellent fit, they didn;t provide any pressure points. The best shoe I ever owned. (I have very thin feet by the way, so finding the right shoe is always tricky.)

After their first use, I had em resoled with stealth rubber.... the ultimate climbing shoe :-)

awesome shoe, like with every la sportiva shoe, downsizing is necessary. And beawr in mind that you should downsize even extra, because they are slippers. Furthermore I just love the heel construction; comfortable and precise. Not too much and not to little downtuned, just the way I like them!

I like the shoe, in fact, it has the best fit of all the 5.10 shoes for my feet. Because they are slippers, you need to buy em awfully small. I used plastic 'sandwich bags' to get my feet in em the first time. (slides better) After a couple of climbs they fit well.

one disadvantage is that the heel comes off pretty quickly when heel hooking. Especially compared with the brilliant heel construction of the cobra's
