I usally come out to climb in the winter. I am living in Switzerland originally from California. No that is not me Euro rapbolting the beautiful crack. I am looking for someone to hook up with that can push me! My latest challenge is Clean and Jerk and Course and Buggy. Did all this with climbers who were climbing the routes after I set the rope. It would be nice to climb with someone who would push me.
I would need a ride from the airport and would gladly pay for the gas money. After that would be camping in the park the whole time, 4 weeks if God wills it.

Even if we do not hook up for a ride would love to climb with you you seem to climb as a way of life! Yes?

I live about 1 Hr. 30 min. from the start of two different walk in points

Been climbing there once. big alpine route in late spring early summer

started in Switzerland ended up in österich (Austria)

the austrian side was still full of snow, a huge wet terse system led to a
snow field back through a notch to Swiss land

this was all done in rockshoes and tennis shoes
you know the ALP boys move swift and fast!

this was my intro route in yosemite

i led all pitches that day

after the first pitch i was sweating, i remember it being rather slick
maybe it was because it was in july?

nice vertical terrain on this route too

i am jealous of all those that climb in the valley
