A group of Army Rangers showed up for advanced aid training. I was expecting to be asked to leave, but they were very cool. I asked for permission to shoot pictures and it was granted. I shot many pictures, but this was probably the best.

I love this tree! It is growing right on rock. If it was 8" high it would be a perfect Bonsai, instead it is about 8'.

This is my cousin on his first climb. He was awesome.

After camping on the top of the mountian the night before, we rappeled down to the base and started on this easy 5.6 to warm up.

This was the Boulder at 10:00 Saturday 8/21. Eerie and beautiful. We were just passing through, but I had to stop and shoot.

after we had climbed the orange party we set up a top rope on some small cliff up top of the main face. i'd rate it about 11a. while i was climbing up it a army hellicopter hovered about 300 feet from me taking pictures. also, note the major sunburn. i couldn't go to work the next day because of it.

okay, so it was only a 5.5 and one of my friends left his chalk bag up top only to realise this after we had repelled to to the top of the 1st picth. so will said, "psh rope" and started climbing.

This was taking at the bottom as we were leaving.... its so rewarding to sit at the top and look down and say to yourself... I hiked and clibmed all the way up here...

yeah yeah,, it doesnt even look like he is belaying, but he is.. great belayer huh?
