Moosedrool & VolcaneerWe're standing in front of a granite crag lying just west of the prominent granite mountain called the Castle. This crag provides many awesome climbs from bolted to crack.

Blue LakeHere's a great shot of the view while climbing on the Castle. Moosedrool and I couldn't help but climb here while we should have been at Frenchmen's Coulee. Sorry guys.

Sunrise at the CouleeHere's proof that Moosedrool and I did actually make it to Frenchmen's. Though it was after dark and we had to head home early. Sorry again. What a great place to hang. Sorry we didn't get to meet you.

Moosedrool for frictionGood start to this little friction route. Comes with it's own bolts. I haven't seen any publications describing this rock yet, but would guess this was 5.7ish. Plenty of 5.10 to 5.11 to be found... Maybe even more.

Nice little 5.10 wallMike taking a break near the top of the second pitch of a route on the Southeast face. I'm sure it has an official name, but Moosedrool and I decided on "Up with the sickness"

Top of first pitchThis is the top of the first pitch of unknown route on the Castle... Second pitch was 5.10 to 5.8, 3rd pitch couldn't climb due to weather. But a later trip showed multiple choices with varying dificulty.

Southwest Face of the CastleBest I can tell, this Granit is part of a larger Granite mountain called the Castle, just South of Grand Coulee, Washington... I'm no pro but think it's probably 5.10ish.
