I love placing gear in that desert sandstone.. Here I am placing a super solid wired hex.

Here I am nearing the crux - figuring out what piece I'm going to put where.. Being my first 9 out there, I was a teeny bit nervous, especially since I didn't have the cam I wanted for the edge of the flake.

Now that the crux is protected, I get to finally move thru the hard(er) part.

The first piece is in and it's time to start the climb! That slung hex was just so bomber, it gave me so much piece of mind afterwards.

It was fun finding all the passive placements I could on this climb.. Yet, it was also nice to find any opportunity to plug in a MaxCam. This was a super fun climb.. Photo by Andy.

Every morning we had to wake up to this shitty view. God that ugly ass Colorado River and those trashy LaSalle Mountains just put me in an awful mood. Where are the garbage trucks and Chicago traffic when you really want them.

This is eat the rich, it is a 5.10c. It was super fun but a bit slippery! This is me Kris climbing, it was my third real rock experience!

Fun lead on Pot Ash, nothing difficult but alot of fun. Not sure if I got the route name correct.

If you look really close, you can see the kids from KU rock climbing working on the rough approach to the wall street climbs. This place was incredible at sunrise.
