Second day of Ice climbing and now I am officially hooked. My bank account was not happy to hear that.

This is a simple picture of me on a trad-lead at Owl's Head in the Adirondacks. Idon't know the name of this route, but was getting some crack-practice in that day to prepare for Gamesmanship on Poke-O-Moonshine the next.

This is the view mid-way up A2 Brute at the first anchor, although the route can be done in a single pitch.

Best part of Pete's Farewell. It was a crisp sunny autumn day -- perfect for climbing. Was a great day to be outdoors.

This is another shot of me soloing a 5.6 crack climb at Owl's Head in the Adirondacks of New York. This area is popular with the local guides teaching climbing classes, so there are always top ropes set up all over this very scenic cliff.

Climbing in the "Daks" can involve many difficult conditions including being "benighted" if your not carefull. This photo was taken on the route called "Screw and Climbax" on the north side of Pitchoff.

Doug Widdis (polarwid) avoiding the top ropes while soloing a 5.6 crack on Owl's Head in the Adirondacks. There are some great face and crack climbs at this small crag located a short hike from the road. As you can see the views are awesome too! Photo
