Scoping an incredibly hard unclimbed route at Quincy Quarries. Where the Q-Wall meets the green, friable wall to the right.

Its the end of the day and I'm burned - both from sun and from futile attempts at Thank You Scott. Mike and I seemed to think the easier way for the vertically challenged is to lay-back off the smaller crimpy stuff- my arms were too short for the crossed over jam. Photo by dbyte.

crimps & edges done correctly will pull you through the crux, the sequence is super cool especially when you let your body tell you how to move.

I took my daughter to Qunicy Quarries for some tr, but I got to boulder a little bit between belays.

Fun route, had some challenging moves however also had an some great rest spots for those who need to work on their stamina

Unfortunately, I missed getting a shot of Jason's first lead fall and Rob's first lead catch. I had to settle for Jason placing this #4 nut behind the flake.

Gabe aids Under the Big Top, I believe. He's done it before but in a different way, because there were too many icicles in the way today.

Cory joked by saying he wanted me to bring him a munchkin up to him. So that's exactly what I did. I clipped the box to my harness and began to climb! Of course, after my foot slipped and I took a short fall, Cory needed to make sure that the munchkins were ok! Notice how the box is perfectly in focus, but I am not. Taken by Miss Harsh herself!

This is me climbing Layback at Quincy Quarries. This is my favorite climb at the Quarries so far. Taken and edited by my frind Chris.

Chris throws caution to the wind as he sets out on the sharp end for the first time. He has climbed this route before...on toprope. Unfortunately, the 4 bolts protecting the climb have more rust on them than my car. I loan him my plastic courage/brain bucket and try to talk him out of it. Oblivious to my concerns he starts out. I got this and several other decent pics out of the experience. Great job Chris!
