Nairn checking out the next moves on Indigo, Cosmology Wall, Cougar Canyon.

Highly featured wall in a canyon, above Canmore Alberta, Canada. cant remember the name of the area of the route.

Went out for some exploratory ice-climbing and ended up tooling around on warm rock instead. 1993ish.

Late January and the mercury just below zero. The belayer was standing on a frozen Cougar Creek. No chalk in the chalk bag, just heat packs

I"m climbing this shirtless on January 30th. I had to take the pic, just so I could say that i did it. what an awsome day that was

Relatively easy route good lead pretty slippery near the bottom where the creek has made the rock smooth but a great lead.

I don't know who added this cliff but the name of the route is "Red Shirt in Thai" on the Krabi Crag. A fun traverse, harder on second.

Pretty hard to see, but there is a guy in black just right of center on this route.

This is a very fun line on dark limestone- Gavin M. is here nearing the anchors.

A climber is on either Cosmic String or the route to its' left.

Gavin M. starts this classy but very short route near the creek in Cougar.

A stickman puts down his backpack to eye the grey slab outcrop known as La Playa Negra, a sun trap 100m west of Canadian Forks Area. The stickman can't wait for spring as he watches the ice drip down the rock. The upper yellow rock is poor.

Pic from mid-90s on a buttress we found in the woods high across the creek from House of Cards. We decided to try to aid over the roof but failed due to bad gear.

Jill (glaciergirl) concentrates as she looks for the next hand hold on a 5.9 in Cougar Canyon. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the wall, but I think it is the one before Cosmology.

Cody Wollen cruising up a 10b/c at the Canadian Forks which is one of the last crags. Some of the best climbs are here!

First thing in the morning, everyone unpacking their gear on a wonderful April day. Weather was great and the atmosphere was electric!!!

Taken July 6 2002, this photo shows the south-most part of Made in the Shade wall as seen from the main trail. the north part of made in the shade has quite different features.
