A good showing for her first time outdoors. Tempest had 20/20 vision while climbing "Blindside", which goes at 10c. It's a little left of the obvious paintings. This is a great spot for warm ups and dodging the sun. Brandon is on belay.

Tempest shot this photo of me on a nice cruisey 5.9. It's a great shot because you can see a portion of the paintings in the bottom right corner. Darkness sets in fast when your in the tight sections of the grotto.

Climbed Grotto Falls, then set up a top rope to do a few laps on a steep section that doesn't quite top out anymore due to melting....about two meters up I put my axe directly into the middle of my rope!! nice shot....don't think I could do that again if I tried. Good thing I sharpened my pics the other day so it would cut better.....crap......

The middle section of the falls had water running down, and it created some pretty cool formations, along with a very musical sound. The picture doesn't really do it justice. I'm not sure exactly how horizontal icicles form.

A real good look at Grotto Falls just up and to the right of His and Hers. This was a three man team. The second and third are being belayed on half ropes from leader above.

Climbing "Hers" late in the season, and the ice was getting a little thin. I ended up downclimbing because I Knocked off a large chunk of ice at the top which prevented me from reaching the belay station.
