First outdoor climb. Not sure of the rating, but man was it ever fun....Im hooked.

Early September and the days were starting to get shorter. Snapped this picture of my partner, Jeff L. rappelling down from Rainbow bridge at Barrier.

We always thought it was a great way to start out each year with an accent on the first day. ________________________ Hugh MacPherson on the summit of Barrier. This photo was taken looking to the N.W., that's Barrier Lake frozen in the background. We scrambled through the trees from the Kananaskis highway, then climbed small ice gully to gain the ridge. From there we just walked up the ridge to the summit where we stood on New Years Day.

Nice short 11a. This is a shot of me making the crux move, a tough dead point off a crip with the left had and a tiny pebble on the right foot. This was my first 11.a :)
