Adrian (hangingman), about to start the rappel to the ground from the half way station on Wicked Wanda. The upper part has got crazy scoops, roofs and upsidedown icicles from the murderous ghost winds.

Shelley took this while belaying at the base of Hydrophobia. We did the first pitch as one long one with bit of simul-climbing to get to the first belay. Excellent ice this day with a big chinook blowing in an incredible place. Cryophobia is just peaking out to the right. This picture was taken with a Nikon D100 and 20mm lens.

THis airy traverse off the belay on the last pitch is a great finish to Bonanza...until you hit the scree at the top - bombs away!

Here I am, smiling, thoroughly enjoying my first traditional climb! This is on Constellation, in the Ghost near Cochrane, AB. The day was +28C, and the smoke from some controlled burning near Banff rolled into the valley at about noon and just hung there (hence the hazy background). My amateur photographer goof - I had this roll of SLIDE film developed as regular photos! oops - this pic in full color would have done it more justice.

C. Zubris among one of many, many pitches! Good fun, more of an alpine ramble than a true ice route. Better ice near summit. I actually retreated just below summit due to flimsy leather boots= reaggrivating prior cold damage to my toes. I will giver a go next season. Dont worry I have invested in good foot wear! Great climb!

Beowulf, 670 meters, WI 4. Great 1st pitch, awsome scramble through narrows and fun 100 meter grade 3 finish.

670 m, WI 4. 250 m vertical gain, 625 m horizontal. Tons of short roping and soloing. Partner Sarah ahead on the narrows!
