Traversing at Sunset Rock

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Traversing at Sunset Rock

This is a pleasant little limestone pocket bouldering crag in Milton, ON. It's rather vertical, and serves mostly as a good pump traverse, or dynos to large pockets. Here I am warming up no higher than six feet off the ground...

Downshifts Project

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Downshifts Project

This is downshift project, I think that we've both given it enough mental mappage that we'll be ready to hit it with some rope soon enough. We've decided to run rope on this one just to be on the safe side. There'll be an adjoining description.

Iain checks out one of the caves

Average Rating = 2.00/5 Iain checks out one of the caves

Do I turn go left or go right?...

Average Rating = 2.00/5 Do I turn go left or go right?...

Just another shot of one of the paths through the crevices. It's not a large system to wander through by any stretch of the imagination, but it helps to have a good sense of direction ;-). Photo taken by me on apr27/02.

a sample of what the north wall has to offer...

Average Rating = 2.50/5 a sample of what the north wall has to offer...

My wife and son taking a closer look at the limestone of the Northern wall (don't ask why... I have no idea ;-). There's the ocassional nasty bit of rock jumble at the base of the wall that you'd have to keep an eye out for when landing, considering the h
