Here's a photo of the 1st Sella Tower. The obvious right facing corner is the Trenker Crack, a great 5.7-5.8 route. On the left you can see the chimney which appears like a big crack. This is the easiest route up the tower.

A swedish couple we met later at camp in this chimney route, which looked like it entailed at least hard 5.9 climbing, I'm unsure of the route, and don't have the guide, so if anyone can fill the info in more, I'll update. They said it was a solid route, with good gear, and easy moves.

Here I am finishing the top of the Trenker Crack. As you can see you can get great exposure with very moderate climbing in the Dolomites.

That's me on the last meters of the crux pitch in Spigolo Maria, Sass Pordoi (2950m), Dolomites, Italy. It's a traverse of maybe 30 meters which I found a little hard to protect. But exposure to the right side of me is just fantastic! Picture taken by bellaitalia.

The Langkofel as i saw it when i awoke on a meadow at the passo di sella. Like all the days it was cloudy, and you could only see the mountains for a few minutes a day.

We had a blast but we ended up running along the Cengia dei Camosci, a narrow path with exceedingly frightening exposure. We wanted to get down before dark and we did. Yay!
