9am...we just left our boat and the dolphins behind us and are ready to climb up the Aguglia Goloritze. To be alone there is a foretaste of paradise

Val and me on our way up to the top of the Aguglia. Four or five pitches (< 6c+) of extraordinary limestone climbing.

Following on the Needle Of Goloritzč #1

Average Rating = 3.57/5 Following on the Needle Of Goloritzč #1

Me as the third of the team, on this huge needle over the sea (450ft, 5 pitches). We made it in 5 hours, a mix of two routes, 5.10c-5.11a. I don't laughter at all, I'm done, exhausted, and just want to be back on the beach... Slide by Günther Merx, then printed on paper and scanned.

Sole Incantatore 2

Average Rating = 3.55/5 Sole Incantatore 2

Evening view from the top of the 160m (~500 feet) monolith "Agulia" in the bay "Cala Goloritze". The ocean has a beautiful blue color which leads to a blue glow of the whole bay in the evening sun.

View from l'Aguglia

Average Rating = 3.00/5 View from l'Aguglia

The summit of l'Aguglia is big enough for 2 or maybe 3 people. You have a direct view straight down of the tourists on the beach below. Spectacular tower!

Easy Gymnopedie

This is the second pitch, the crux pitch. It is listed at 11a but is only 10d. And you can easily A0 the move. Very well protected. I say fall trying to pull the over hang. Its fun.
