Rappelling at Railey Beach

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Rappelling at Railey Beach

Love this photo - this is Rit and Nicole about to rappel down out of one of the caves on the other side of the beach. We hiked up and through the caves in this cliff and came out on another beach to do some more climbs...

Nicole and I

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Nicole and I

Nicole is a cool Canadian chick (originally from Halifax) who I met in Thailand. She was my climbing partner and my partner in crime. We've met up and climbed once in Canada and I can't wait to do it again!

East Railay

Average Rating = 3.00/5 East Railay

This is a pic of East Railay where all the longtail boats come in. This is about 6-7 months before the tsunami. I am not sure how it looks now. You can see the limestone cliffs in the background. I can't wait to go back!

Longboats Ready to take you to Railay

Average Rating = 3.70/5 Longboats Ready to take you to Railay

Just arrived back from Thailand a few days ago and during the trip we stayed on Tonsai and Ao Nang for a few days. This was taken just after the sunset, the drivers will still take you to Railay long into the night. Anyone who has been to the area will probably recognize the phrase "Taxi Boat, Railay"

Great roof section.

Average Rating = 3.50/5 Great roof section.

I was finally able to pull this 7A+ climb, after 2 weeks of extensive climbing around Railay and Tonsai beach. This isn't even the crux! Mate Greg took the excellent shot, while Linus belayed me up!

Great roof section in Ton Sai

Average Rating = 3.50/5 Great roof section in Ton Sai

Finally I was ready to face a 7A+ route in this beautiful corner of Thailand, Ton Sai. 40'C and much humidity made it hard to get through the climb. Aussie mate, Greg, took the picture while buddy Linus belayed.

Out of Place - Krabi, Thailand.

Average Rating = 3.85/5 Out of Place - Krabi, Thailand.

Picture of a tree near to Krabi that was sitting out alone in a tidal alcove. I am sure it has been swept away. I thought I would just share this with you all - I have had it sitting around for a long time.

Coming up Au Nung Tower

Average Rating = 3.50/5 Coming up Au Nung Tower

This is me seconding the 3rd pitch (I think!) whilst the boat man waits around to see if he can get the dollars for our return trip. He left the scene a few minutes after the shot leaving us holla out for a new long boat driver whilst still on this isolated pinnacle.
