Camp 3 on or way to mayoli pass. this was early morning, it was sooo amazing i just took my camera and blindly shot the pic. the foreground is fine, although i have photoshoped the background to the best of my abilities to make up for the overexposure.

This is a lake at about 14500 ft altitude in the Garhwal Himalaya. It really is one of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen. The waters of the lake change colour when viewd from different angles - from higher up the slope they were green. I hope I've been able to do justice to the scene. Comments please!

This is a late evening shot taken from inside my tent at Vasuki Tal, after having completed the crossing over the 16,800ft Mayali pass in the Garhwal Himalaya. The peaks form the southern headwall of the Gangotri glacier system. Probably Chaukhamba on the right but I'm not certain about the identification.
