Lucky for Matt (far_east_climber) and I, my little bro Jim came along to Shek O with us, and was able to free us from under the boulder...

Hiking back to Shek O headland after a great day at the crag - as you
can see, Tai Tau Chau is scattered with limitless boulder problems

Here I am chalking up on a sweet little boulder problem located below the main face. Wouldn't want to slip off here and roll down into the crashing waves below...

Here we see a common species of rock hermit, often found dwelling on tops of boulders whilst looking out to sea... This particular one has assumed the 'pondering position' - a position these rock hermits often find themselves in when either marvelling at the beauty of their surroundings... or more commonly, "how do i get down?!"

Here I am, in one of my more flattering photos, bouldering in Shek O. I seem to be rather agitated at either my lack of sending, or my lack of grip on the hold... "needs more chalk!"

Warm sunshine on your back, lens flare, a cool breeze... what more could you ask for in a day's bouldering at Shek O

The random climber (bottom left) really gives a sense of perspective to the wall.

Most of the routes are on the orther side :-) This is the view when you arrive from Shek O, you need to cross the bridge on the left (not on pic). 25 Nov 2001

One of the most famous spot on Tai Tau Chau. You reach it from the top, where bolts are installed. Average height: 10 meters. Many problems from *eazy warm-up* to quite severe. Very nice terrace, the sun is on you up to 3pm and the sea is just down here :
