Stage one of the extentions

Average Rating = 2.50/5 Stage one of the extentions

Phil Box and Kachoong set up the scaffolding to put in place the next section of the famous 'Shed'. This is the 9 meter vertical top rope section ending at the last clip of the 9 meter roof.

Stage two of the extentions.

Average Rating = 2.33/5 Stage two of the extentions.

The next part of the indoor wall extention was to extend the constant bouldering overhang to the ceiling in order to eventually lead the 9 meters to meet the roof.

The extentions are complete but holdless!

Average Rating = 3.00/5 The extentions are complete but holdless!

Phil, Dave, Rob and Ben used a little elbow grease to build another 40 square meters of climbing space to the already existing 9 meter roof and 30 square meter bouldering wall. Soon the CAVE will be complete and leadable. The roof has 10 clips and starts at about 5.10b

Want to lead at home?

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Want to lead at home?

Well, at Phil's shed you can lead all you want! At 22' high with a 30' roof it's got big jugs, little jugs, finger pockets, crimpers, heel hooks etc. etc..... you name it it's got it! Not to mention the bouldering cave and the 12' by 25' bouldering wall.

Ergophobe looking good

Average Rating = 2.33/5 Ergophobe looking good

Ergophobe is looking really solid up until he got to the spindle where he fell off. Ergophobe and Theresa stayed at my place for a couple of nights after I took them up Mt. Tibrogargan. The second day I took them into the rainforest on a tour. At the end of the second day I took them down to the shed where my woodies are set up and Ergo and Theresa got spanked entirely on the way steep overhung lead wall. Twas a fun time climbing with them though. It was excellent that I actually got to meet some rc.commers.
