I went that day on the base of this very nice climb with the idea of climbing it with sandals and a bottle of beer for the picture but the guy that attempted to climb it before me took such a big wipper that I changed my plans and climb it a little more conservative way...

Slightly overhung crimpfest. Grade 26 Sport / Trad route. Great Area to go when the days are hot.

I actually like this photo, although as with my other photo on Wackford Squeers, it hasn't been rated as well as some others. Oh well ...

My buddy Christian Mathieson masters the art of toe hooking by getting a no-hander in the middle of the Kachoong roof (21, 5:10d). To prove there was no tension on the rope, he pulled out a massive loop but unfortunately the photo looked average so this one will have to do. Photo, doughboy

Another kachoong shot. This is another pic of me secconding kachoon (21) at Mt Arapilies, Victoria. I'm doing the crux move now by pulling the lip.

I had been wanting to climb Kachoong for five years, but never got up the courage. Well I finally sucked it up and after waiting for my photographer to get set headed up... what an awesome climb! Do it if you get the chance, it's great fun! :)
