Sean Jones and Brian Ketron established a SUPER classic new 18 pitch 12c on Hetch Hetchy Dome last spring. Here's Sean on the FA of pitch 17. I got to photo then do the acrtual FA which was very exciting.

Some distance beneath the surface of this reservoir lies Hetch Hetchy Valley, the "other" Yosemite Valley. You can help pull the plug on this by going to www.hetchhetchy.org and offering your support.

There's still climbing at Hetch Hetchy. But if that damn dam hadn't been built, we'd have our little Yosemite North with so many walls and lines....lines we'll never get to know. While the area is still beautiful, I get such a twinge of sadness every time I look at the water and think of the lush valley that was once there.
Damn you reservoir!!!!

Ryan Evans works "The Fin". A beautiful piece of rock on the south side of the reservoir. Catch is early, before all the snow melt, or else you'll need a swimsuit! (only kidding, it is illegal to swim in the water) (Photo by: Mike Draper)

Beautiful line at Hetch Hetchy Resevoir in Yosemite, CA. One of the best V3's I have ever been on for sure. The scenery and seclusion from this boulder problem is unsurpassed.
