This photo was taken by me on the car ride from exploring boulders at Mt. Rubidoux with Mike. This was the perfect day for traffic on the freeway.

This is my friend Carlos attempting a crazy long starting move on a cool boulder we found off trail in Mt. Rubidoux. You can hit the move like this or go straight to a shouldery side pull (see other photo).

This is Carlos just finishing a warm up slab on a beautiful day in Mt. Rubidoux, overlooking the city.

This is Carlos again trying the crux starting move on an unknown boulder we found in Mt. Rubidoux. This is the side pull version of a really long move off a crimp.

Just me and some friends of mine climbing in Riverside at Mt. Rubidoux, high above the city and even higher above the haze...We found peace.

Reaching for the next hold on the Center Crack on Little Half Dome on Mt. Rubidoux. Fun, easy climb; nice grippy crack that thins a little near the top. We were on a multi-city trip and flying lite se we didn't have much gear; 30m 8mm twin rope, webbing and a couple lockers.
Dirtonlip is belaying. Joe, a non-climber (and our favorite climbing photographer), clipped in to the bolt to get the shot.

Preparing to rap Little Half Dome on Mt. Rubidoux. This was the last day of 2004, and the first clear day after the December rain. The sky was clean and clear and everything covered in winter grass. The Center Crack is a short 5.8, great for gear placement; unfortunately we didn't bring any. Photo by Joe, our official climbing photographer.

It is great to have a climbing girlfriend/partner. She just makes the photo that much better. Perfect conditions for a great photo. All the rain in Southern Cali provided some green to give this photo some life. Some storm clouds around sunset made this just a beautiful day of climbing.

This is Kevin on "In the Picture". Guidebook rated it 5.11+/V3. A fun and recommended lieback.

As the description of the route mentions, a delicate start, a crimpy crux, and then eases a little as you progress. Slightly OTD. I recommend this route.
