Avoiding the blood offering

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Avoiding the blood offering

This was Monies 1st bouldering trip out side and first time using a heel hook. She learned quickly to expect the blood offering to the rock god when climbing real rock.

Heel hooking the traverse

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Heel hooking the traverse

I love this boulder, it has such a variety of problems in a boulder and difficulty can change so greatly with the weather and tide.

This was Monie's 2nd time outside climbing. What a trooper, and she really had fun pull'n hard on what ever route I laid out for us to climb.

Bouldering At Stinson

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Bouldering At Stinson

Shot of me bouldering at Stinson Beach, N of San Fran. The boulders are right on the sand, so the landings are great for the most part.

Monie pull'n hard on the traverse

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Monie pull'n hard on the traverse

My bouldering partner Monie, had struggled all day with this problem. I threatened to document failure in motion for her and funny how she nailed the route. Good times in cool weather

The big slappin reach

Average Rating = 0.00/5 The big slappin reach

The rach here is up and over to a jug two feet from the lip of the overhang. You gotta use your feet and do it in dyno sorta move. Very fun!!!

Stenson Rail

Average Rating = 4.43/5 Stenson Rail

We found this cool V2ish arete towards the South end of Stenson Beach in Marin County, Ca. The tide was coming up fast which made for a short climbing session but cool shots. The climber is about 10ft of the deck with several moves to go. He had to lower himself down from the slab where you see the chalk to keep his shoes dry! For those wondering, this pic was taken with a Canon SD100 lofted by a 23ft pole. This technique offers some cool perspectives.
