Too hot in Josh. Too far to Red Rocks (and still too hot). Ah, to Castle! My first time here actually, and enjoying TAJ - a fun little 5.7 climb. Met some great folks out there that day as well. Ain't it cool how often you meet such good people in nature's splendor?

This is a picture of my first day toproping outside. The route was easy, but it was a whole new experience being outside. I loved it.

Our first time at Castle Rock,Big Bear Lake. Nice hike in and great climbing. This vert was about 100ft. We will be back, it's worth the trip.

Castle Crack, 5.10c, is one of the sweetest cracks in the San Bernardino Mountains for its grade. Nearly dead vertical, it goes from fingers to hands on a well-featured wall.
