Leaning Tower of Tollhouse is a small obscure outcrop found high on the west side of Burrough Mountain.

Beer Rock is on the dirt road on the East side of the Tollhouse Rock ridge. Not much there, but it's worth a few minutes if you are on the way home and have a some time.

Great sustained finger crack! Fun and a bit un-nerving. This is one of my favorite pitches on tollhouse.

This is a shot taken by my partner at the base of what i thought was elepant walk (5.7) but have never found out what it is. I think it might be Wandering Taoist. It was our first multipitch climb with about 4 or 5 pitches. Great climb with a even better view!

Sometime in December I usually get the urge to just bask in the sun, reptile style. A great place to do it is at Tollhouse Rock. These trips are always mellow, even with the shooting practice up above. Here Tom leads "Elephant Walk", one of the fun moderates on the rock.

While the thick fog can be a drag when you're climbing, it can lead to a beautiful sunset like this one.

It's hard to beat the sunset from the parking area of Tollhouse Rock. All the smog of Central Valley adds up to a nice visual effect - March 2004
