Looking down from above at donner

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Looking down from above at donner

This is a fun trad climb and a great place to teach people how to lead. It was my first lead climb a couple years ago, and I was able to climb it this morning. Does anyone know what the climb is rated if you do it all the way to the top over the mini roof? I wasn't sure, but I thought it was 5.10 after that.

Was the first climb of the trip, right out of the car. I managed to make it a lot harder than it really was ( see many placements ).

Third time's a charm ?

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Third time's a charm ?

This was my third flailing attempt at this awesome route (Short Subject, .11d). I now have it worked and should definatley go next time ! Upon falling at the dynamic move, I found someone hiding in the bushes with a camera. I later met this mystery man (Matt) who took this great shot of me on the route. photography credit : Matt Theilen www.nomadfoto.com

Phatty soloing on some short 5.10

Average Rating = 2.71/5 Phatty soloing on some short 5.10

This is Phatty soloing on Sun wall ( I think ). All the routes on this wall are really short and more like tall boulder problems. This shot is in the middle of the winter at 7000 feet.

Sending Hit and Run on the lead

Average Rating = 2.00/5 Sending Hit and Run on the lead

This route is incredible. The rock is fantastic, the shoes smear like a dream on the stuff. Hit and run is long, pumpy, and has really no crux. Just an substained headwall with a beatiful finish. This 5.11d is defielty worth doing, even if the grade is a bit hard for you.
