Another beautiful day climbing in the tahoe area. Easiest walk in to a climb, I was surprised the wall wasn't more crowded. Sometimes it pays to get a late start.

Brad, Rob and myself headed to Eagle Lake Cliffs to see what the climbs were like. We were presented with the awesome opportunity for some stunning photos. This is one of my favorites.

Taking the Roomies out to Climb in the Spring of 03. This route was called Holdless Horror, which is a funny name concidering it was the easiest route there and had tons of holds. Once summer rolls around, this place is like a gym, so get your climbing done here in may and June, and go elsewhere in the summer.

rrrADAM working an unnamed 5.11c TR at Eagle Lake Cliffs. This is a slightly overhung climb involving underclings & sidepulls with no feet.

20-January-2007: K. Chaltikian bouldering on Sunny Falls. An arctic air mass with low snowfall had blessed Eagle Creek Canyon with ice ... he later led a couple of WI4 lines on this short wall (20m ?)

20-January-2007: an arctic air mass had been in the Tahoe area, causing lots of things to form up. Some locals told us this 30m was about WI4+ and it felt pretty steep ... this was on the south side of Eagle Creek Canyon (north-facing) opposite Sunny Falls.
Bolt anchors at the top - K. Chaltikian led it - he first lassoed the pillar, then placed two cams before getting a solid ice screw in.
