First shot at the .10c in the Quarry. Sweet climb!

Sweet line in the SRA. First time on the .10c

Good .10c in the SRA, i realy like this climb.

Yet another shot of my first time on the route.

Warming up on a cool 5.8 (Anonymous Coward)....didn't take long for the rock to reach the temperature of the sun, though....quite toasty out there at high noon.

A very fun route (5.9) had by all on this beautiful day up in Auburn. Here's Robby, who was just as perplexed as I was, as to how I got him to look so ripped in this photo. Erm, I mean, he always looks like that! And yes ladies, he is single.

....but even better known as Left Shoe Blue Right Shoe Red, because he used to wear a mismatched pair of shoes, but in the photo we see him in a new pair of Mad Rocks.... which he had put off buying for the longest time because he didn't want to lose his nickname. Easily solved, he bought mismatched shoelaces! Now he can concentrate on more urgent matters, such as where to go next on this route.

My first summer as a climber has been blessed with many new friends, along with many new stories from our adventures. Sometimes, the best way to tell them are in your own words, other times, you tape them! Here's Davin filming me at the finish of 'Sneaky'.

Finally lead a route today (Community Chest, 5.7)...took an amusing fall before clipping into the anchors, but I blame that on complacency. You shoulda seen the faces of my climbing buddies...it was so worth it.

Scale Wall (on the left)--seven routes, from 5.7 to 5.10c From this side, you call see all of Scale Wall, a peek into Horseshoe Canyon (mid pic) and just a bit of Memorial Wall (on the right). This is the view as you come off the trail up into the ASRA climbing area.

Again, a bit of a view into Horseshoe Canyon....and a peek into the steep climb up to Wreckage Wall.

Creepshow--5.8....For those of you that remember the old "horror" movies of the same name, this is my rendition....although it didn't involve running over a homeless guy, it was nonetheless just as painful to watch :-)

Unknown (5.9) is the name of this route, as well as the answer to why I subject myself to such torture....

"OK, in this case, a noose is your friend...trust me"

Flashed Landslide (5.8) on my first day of climbing...I was pretty stoked about that one.......

This is a really fun route in Auburn. The start has a few hard moves but you can clip the 3rd bolt if your scared of the lead. I made it up all 9 bolts to the rings, nice and pumpy all the way.

Long route, 8 bolts of .8. I got reallypumped at the last bold and couldn't finish so I lowered there.
