Brad Mattingley taking a run on Spite and Malice. One of the best pitches in the area.

This is one of the best 5.10 routes out here. It was a fine day, snow on the ground so we chased the sun. The rock up here is awesome. Sonso45 took on 031506.

Then I got on it and found out how rattly the locks really were. Ouch. Even with tape, they sucked. Great job Phil; he's about to pass the last small roof in the photo. Wonderful day, snow on the ground and the walls were perfect in the sun. Sonso45 took on 031506 on olympus digital.

The splitter Phil is following is awesome and well-protected as you can see. On the steep upper half, I started with a nut and placed a 1/2 to #2 camalot. Very nice climb, would be right up there with Paradise Fork's finest. Sonso5 took on olympus digital 0315/06.

We had a fun time up there, even with a wet Oak Creek crossing. Marc did an awesome stem just after this photo. Thin moves and pro!

A fine finish to a fine spring day, snow on the mtns behind us and water in Oak Creek. It was cooler than I expected, fine with me.

I know, a butt shot but it shows the center curve of the area and KB styling the start.

Tacos at the end of the traverse on this fine route. Great except for the rope drag caused by the traverse under the roof. It is @ 25' right of black and tan.
