Coming up I believe pitch 4 or 5. The Grass Hummock pitch. Known for its globs of dirt and high alpine grass clumps that are logded in the crack as you climb.

Slogging gear to the base of the NE Butt for a 6am start. We also scoped our line. Awesome view of route.

Rappeling the east face of Pingora from a day on the NE Butt. You get a good view of the East Face, K Cracks, and Wolfs head.

Looking back at the NE Ridge of Pingora one of the most beautiful climbs I have ever done. Our day started just like this but ended with the typical Wind River afternoon storms. Good thing we started the route at 6am sharp.

Climbing Gannett Peak's North Face. This was taken at sunrise (which was seriously beautiful), hence the weird snow colour. The photo makes it look like a pretty gentle slope, but it's misleading. Also visible in the picture is the bergushrund - the snow bridge over it collapsed while we were crossing. Very fun, moderately easy alpine climb.

My buddy, Emmett, leading up the second team to a 11,000 foot pass in the Wind River Mountain Range on a National Outdoor Leaderhip School expedition. Don't let the t-shirt fool you. It was cooold that whole month. I took the pic as my team already summitted.

This is the third summit team on our National Outdoor Leadership School expedition. We had three parties taking different routes up the snowfield. Probably the best overall trip I've ever taken. Good times.

This is our camp on Goat Flats in late April of 2005. A storm moved in and visibility was low along with extremly high winds. We were forced to take shelter behind this boulder which in morning we found to be the only wind barrier around. Temperatures were well below zero, and tent snow removal was necessar every hour.
