Fun route. Low-angle slab finishes over small overhang with a short, but difficult face.

My favorite boulder problem at talking head wall. Not sure if it is an established problem, but Dani and I always have fun with it!

Photo of Pure Energy. 30 feet. 3/19/05. Elizabeth Furnace. Roadside Crag aka Talking Headwall. It's a short climb but if you just climb the face and avoid the blocks to the left and the resting ledge right before the crux you'll find this to be pretty pumpy.

Look for this defilement to start the climb. Clip bolt then head for roof crack.

Clip bolt below blocky chimney then through chimney that takes lots of gear. At ledge, clip 4 more bolts out the big roof.

This is the top of I Love Big Jugs. It looks intimidating but the big jugs through the overhang make it pure fun.

The route follows the small right-facing corner (not the flake), traverses left, and then finishes through the overhang at the twin cracks in the overhang.

Finishing Three Amigos through the overhang. The direct variation climbs the face on small holds directly beneath the exit cracks.

This is the longest slab at Buzzard Rock and the distinctive left to right diagonal flake is quite noticeable even from the road.
The direct route is 5.10 (TR) and the flake version is 5.9 (mixed)
