Follow the bolts on this "well-protected" classic climb for some fun and a little exposure. A good 10-15 feet between bolts, but well worth the effort!

Ever heard mice (or were they Proks?) rambling on inside a hand crack? There were so many I thought they were going to attack while I balanced my way up this sparcely protected slab route on the back of Enchanted Rock.

In a dire effort to save some dignity, Dave digs in deep to pull off a top rope ascent of this powerful, yet beautiful crack climb.

....and the crack only gets thicker! Here is Elliott, cruising up this classic E-Rock corner crack (hands to off-width).

Elliott getting the most out of the last good fist jams before the crack starts gobbling up all his big-ass cams.

....to your diet.... and eat more greens! That's certainly what I needed before this unsuccessful onsight attempt. Not long after this photo I proceeded to whip about 15 feet, pulling a HB offset and being held by another HB offset.

A climber finding a hidden good hold on this classic, but very gear-fiddly 10a at E-Rock. One of the most labor-intensive 10a's I've climbed.

Nice view of E-Rock from the top of the Devil's Slide. Relaxed and easy bolted multi-pitch day for a break after pulling hard at Reimers Ranch two days straight.

Photo taken by John Sanders. The lead out to the first bolt at about 20 feet up is tricky, but not too difficult. I recently scanned in a bunch of my slides, so I thought I'd share.

Try climbing it after rain.

Slab climb past 2 bolts to an overlap (#1 or 2 camalot) then cruise past a few more bolts to anchors on a block. 2 ropes to rappel. Great climb.
Runout btwn 1st and 2d bolt (groundfall potential), but very easy climbing.

Lizarddoc seconding up Deep Prok. She's between the first and second bolt, beneath the overlap.

Flowers growing on rock. There's something so smug about a flower which decides to grow despite unfavourable conditions. Flowers defying nature: Climbers defying gravity :) There's a connection for you.

Nice Multi pitch that we did while staying at e-rock over spring break.

Myself climbing space balls over spring break. I climbed this right after taking a hard wipper (20+ft) on Clockwerk Orange. It took about three tries.

caught in the act of belaying is John. We spent 6 days in the primitive area and rock climbing E-rock!

What else do you do when they needed both ropes for the pitch?

Merritt pulling this V2 unnamed. He fell but caught himself about half way up and had to do a one arm pull-up to regain his position.
